Muscles and Movement w/ Fallon Horan
May 15-17
Building upon the framework of our skeletal structure and joint anatomy we will explore the major muscle groups of the body. We will highlight where we can harmonize strength with functional range of motion for a safer body movement practice. We will explore how muscles work individually and together. We will dive deeper into the differences in types of contractions and types of stretch. We will use these differences to facilitate greater ease and understanding of how we move, or where we may feel stuck, and how to stabilize or release the muscles in our postures.
