Amy Aanonsen 200hr RYT, LVCYT and special needs educator
Amy has been practicing yoga since 2005. She completed her 200 hour Teacher Training in 2015 from Boundless Yoga Studio in Stroudsburg, PA. Amy was originally attracted to a vigorous Vinyasa practice which she still enjoys but, found the gentler forms enable her to deeply connect with her softer side and greet the world with gentle strength. She possesses a B.S. in Psychology, an M.A. in Behavioral Science and has worked with the elderly and disabled for over 25 years. Her dedicated work with these populations along with the service of raising puppies for The Seeing Eye serves as her daily reminder to live life in the present moment. She became certified as a LVCYT - Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga Teacher at the end of 2015. Through her work, she has learned how to compassionately & creatively adapt the practice when needed, and encourages students to embrace & celebrate where they are on their unique personal journey! Amy’s classes are presented with acceptance, humor and gentle spirituality.
"I highly recommend going to this fine new studio and, Amy's awesome class!" - Bill Winecker, student
