BIO:
Diane Stanton is a retired RN, Yoga Teacher (500hr RYT) and Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT)
who believes that you are never too old to learn new things, and anything is possible! Diane
was introduced to Yoga at the age of 50, became a Yoga Teacher at the age of 67, and a
Certified Yoga Therapist at the age of 74. One of her favorite quotes is from Helen Hayes, an
actress who lived into her 90’s. “Age is not important unless you are a cheese.”
Diane enjoys teaching slow, mindful yoga classes that promote exploration of body and mind
awareness, and nervous system resilience, infused with humor and fun. But she can also rock a
fast-paced energetic sun salutation class! Diane also leads various workshops and series,
focusing on balance, bone health and therapeutic movement, often attracting the ‘mature’
student. She loves passing on her experience and knowledge to prospective yoga teachers as a
member of the faculty of Boundless 200 hr and 300 hr Teacher Training Programs.
Diane’s true passion is working with private clients in her role as a Certified Yoga Therapist,
where she brings a holistic approach to health and well-being, utilizing movement, yoga poses,
breathing techniques, meditation, and Yoga Nidra to address physical, mental and emotional
challenges, often helping people to reduce or eliminate chronic pain. Check out her page on
