Boundless Bliss: 50 hr Restorative and Yin Yoga Training Program at Chalanandra Retreat Center- Mexico

LOCATION: Chalananda Retreat Center is located inside a beautiful hot springs water park, in the protected lake and migratory bird sanctuary area of Villa Corona, Jalisco in Mexico. Just 45 minutes from Mexico's second largest and most traditional city Guadalajara. The beauty of its surroundings serve as the perfect retreat to practice, learn, relax and enjoy life. How to get there...For international guests, the best way is to fly into Guadalajara's Don Miguel Hidalgo Airport and take a cab or uber to Chimulco Water Park in Villa Corona. We can also arrange transportation if you contact us in advance.
DATES: October 11-17 (8 Days, 7 Nights) Friday-Thursday
Arrival late Wednesday afternoon to get situated in your housing we will enjoy an evening meal together before our first session later that evening.
The last day (Thursday the 17th) we will depart after lunch.
ABOUNT THE TRAINING PROGRAM(S) 2 IN ONE: RESTORATIVE YOGA AND YIN YOGA:
This teacher training with Chris Loebsack is an 50-hr comprehensive experiential immersion designed to give the current teacher or serious student and in-depth guide through the techniques and practices of restorative yoga and Yin yoga. Breathe into your own self-care while learning these incredible art forms for stretch and relaxation in the beauty and nurturing land of Mexico. This course may be taken for CE credits or as a personal enrichment immersion.
Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that uses props and supports that allow the practitioner to hold poses for a longer period of time without strain, promoting deeper relaxation and creating a space for healing. This allows students relief from stress, including the stress of trying to achieve a posture.
Yin yoga may look similar on the surface, but sets forth a different intention to target stretch and passive flexibility.
Sessions will include, restorative yoga practices, yin yoga practices, practice teaching, lecture, sequencing for special conditions and populations, discussion, therapeutic techniques and time for questions and answers.
The training will be Bi-lingual. The manuals are in English and the teaching will be lead first in English and have a Spanish Simultaneous Interpreter.

· Full experiential class sessions
· Learn the art of teaching restorative yoga and yin yoga
· Embody the creative use of props for deep relaxation and support

· Discover the physiology of the nervous system and stress response
· Explore the physical, mental and emotional aspects of restorative and yin yoga

- Learn how to apply the 5 Elements approach to teaching
