About:
Introduce yourself to a new world of teaching yoga and sharing the playful knowledge of the AcroYoga foundations with the world! This Foundations Course is a program devised to get you started teaching the basics of practicing and teaching, partner work safely and with great joy.
You will learn the guiding principles of AcroYoga, how to safely spot partners, community building philosophy, techniques of practice , and how to demonstrate, cue, and make the postures relatable and accessible to your students.
Move, Connect, Play was developed by AcroYoga Founder Jason Nemer, author of the book under the same name, based upon his 30 plus years of teaching acrobatics. Chris Loebsack, teacher of anatomy and yoga for 30 plus years, was one of his first trained teachers of AcroYoga in 2006 and Joshua Palagyi joins the team adding decades of movement arts practices, including Yoga, Ballet and Aerial Yoga, while adding his theater background to the mix.

Our Foundation Course is the premier course for students who are ready to evolve their practice and learn to teach foundations. We have distilled the magic of AcroYoga into simple, accessible steps you can start teaching right away.

Ability to Base/ Fly: Bird, Throne, Folded Leaf, High Flying Whale
Cautions:
This training is a very physical partner practice. It is not for students with acute injures.
