A Comprehensive Experiential Immersion
Chair Yoga is not “less than” yoga — it’s yoga made accessible, intelligent, and deeply supportive. This training is designed not only for yoga teachers, but for anyone who wants to better understand how to move, breathe, and support others in a safe and welcoming way. You do not need to be a yoga instructor to participate. Whether you’re a healthcare professional, caregiver, educator, wellness provider, or simply someone curious about expanding your practice, you are warmly welcome here.
Using a chair as a foundation creates stability, confidence, and freedom. It allows students of all backgrounds — from active adults and athletes to those recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or navigating limited mobility — to experience strength, flexibility, balance, and breath awareness in an approachable way. While chair yoga is often associated with seniors, it is truly for everyone. The chair can provide support where needed, offer feedback for alignment, deepen body awareness, and even add new challenges for experienced practitioners.
In this experiential training, you’ll explore how chair-based movement can build resilience, improve posture, reduce joint strain, and create more easeful breathing. You’ll learn how to design inclusive practices that meet people exactly where they are — honoring differences in age, ability, confidence, and experience.
This course offers practical tools, guided practice, and supportive community so you can walk away feeling confident, inspired, and equipped to make yoga more accessible to every body.
