Namaste! I’m Erin Peters, and I’ve been fortunate enough to live in the beautiful Pocono Mountains after spending many years in northern New Jersey. I was an 3 time All-American in Track & Field (800m & 1600m). I attended Fordham University at Rose Hill, Bronx NY on a full athletic scholarship. For the past 25 years, yoga has been a central part of my life, guiding me through both physical and emotional growth. Today, I’m not only a practitioner, but also a teacher, and I feel honored to bring the transformative power of yoga to others in my community.
Yoga is much more than a workout—it’s a practice that supports both the body and mind. From the soothing depths of Yin Yoga to the powerful, invigorating flow of my favorite 26/2 series, I’ve embraced every style of practice. I am deeply grateful for the years of education and experience I’ve accumulated, including certifications in Buti Yoga, 26/2, aerial yoga, and a 200-hour program with YogaRenew and Boundless Yoga Studio. Each piece of knowledge has allowed me to grow, but more importantly, it has equipped me to share these practices with others in a way that enhances their lives.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my journey has been teaching yoga to teens and tweens. Seeing their self-esteem rise as they learn to stretch, strengthen, and challenge their bodies in fun and playful ways fills my heart with joy. Yoga creates a unique space for young people to feel empowered, build confidence, and discover the power within themselves. Watching these incredible individuals soar on their mats is nothing short of inspiring, and it’s a privilege to help guide them on their own journeys.
In addition to working with young people, I also have the honor of teaching a weekly chair yoga class for adults with disabilities. This experience has been transformative. It has opened my heart and deepened my understanding of love, acceptance, and the infinite potential of every individual. Yoga, in all its forms, offers something for everyone, no matter where they are in life or their physical abilities.
Currently, I’m working on an exciting new project—an aerial Pilates class that I’m eager to bring to everyone. Combining the strength-building benefits of Pilates with the freedom of aerial yoga, this class will offer participants a chance to challenge themselves, have fun, and experience something new. It’s a project that I’m so excited to share with the world, and I can’t wait to see the positive impact it will have.
As a mom to two boys, a fur baby named Zeke, and our queen kitty Razz, I understand the importance of balance in life. I also understand how vital it is to feel connected to a community that lifts you up. That’s why I’m so grateful for my Boundless Yoga family. Every class, every practice, reminds me of why I fell in love with yoga in the first place—the ability to quiet the mind, connect with the breath, and return to a place of peace. My students inspire me daily, and I am constantly in awe of their strength, dedication, and willingness to learn.
Yoga has brought me so much, and I truly believe it has the power to transform lives. It’s been an honor to be part of such an amazing community, and I look forward to continuing to share this practice with others.
Thank you for being a part of my journey. I can’t wait to see where this path leads next!
