Yin yoga is a style of yoga designed to target stretch and open space in the body during longer held positions (asanas). This facilitates the movement of energy also known as chi or prana, within the body. This course will guide you through a functional approach to the postures with an emphasis on how to work with different bodies and skeletal structures while accessing the depth and appropriate range for the myofascia (muscles)
This course offers a comprehensive experiential immersion designed to give the current teacher or serious student an in depth guide through the techniques and practices of yin yoga. This course may be taken for CE credits or as an immersion, or applied as an elective module to the Boundless Yoga 300 hr Program. Sessions will include: yin yoga practice, practice teaching, lecture, variations for different skeletal structures and abilities, discussion, therapeutic techniques and time for questions and answers.
