Teaching yoga for beginners might seem simple because the classes are “easy”. The truth is that beginners classes can be some of the toughest classes to teach. Beginning students need the most support and the keen eye of a skilled teacher to guide them in their experience. The best teachers we know teach the basics with impeccable form. When you understand how to teach a true beginner and break it all down into bite sized pieces whereas every student can find their success, you become stronger in teaching all levels of classes.
Teaching a pose and breaking it down is far more complicated than simply cuing someone into a pose in a flow or level 1 or 2 class. In this experiential training we will have an in-depth breakdown of beginner friendly postures giving you the confidence and the skill to support both beginners and students with mild injuries in your classroom.
