She is a passionate health nut, DIYer, yogi, fearless dare devil and last but not least an amazing mom. Having grown up as a middle child and struggled through a late childhood/early adolescent phase of awkwardness and social anxiety. Daniela took those struggles and used them to her advantage, she was able to develop a strong sense of self and determination. Life threw her yet another curve ball at age 17 when she became pregnant with her son Dylan. She was forced to grow up overnight. “You have no idea how hard it is to be responsible for another human being!” explains Daniela. “Not a single day goes by that I don’t feel the pressures of wanting the give him all the right tools. I want him to know that he can accomplish anything and everything he puts his mind to doing.
"I have no regrets on being a young mom, but I worry that I might not be making the right decisions sometimes. I want to impress on him most of all to never settle in life.” Yet it is her son that also fuels her passion for health and Yoga. Daniela admits to her own personal struggles with the convenience of fast and easy foods. Health wasn’t her priority until one day she woke up tired of binging and starving herself. Unhappy with her body image she decided to make a life change. She started researching food (a self-You Tube University educated woman), and taking Yoga classes at Boundless Yoga Studio. One of Daniela’s greatest inspirations was her yoga teacher Jen Allen, whose self-empowered-feminism ideals and herbal remedies helped change Daniela’s life path. Fueled with curiosity, she began researching and experimenting with home remedies, organic foods, and even skin care products. Daniela developed her own skin cream she calls, “Aurora Goddess”. “After all”, says Daniela “Jen taught me that if I can’t eat it why on earth put it into my body, therefore I decided to stop using the over the counter products and produce my own.” In March of 2014 she decided to attend the 200-hour Yoga Teacher training course to become a Yoga Teacher. She completes her training in February of 2015 and is now teaching a weekly women’s only benefit class on Wednesday’s from 4pm to 5pm at Boundless Yoga Studio. The proceeds will go to Women’s Resources of Monroe County, PA. We look forward to watching Daniela progress as her passion and drive alone ensure that this woman has great things in store!
